Over 70 business owners and franchise professionals walked away brimming with information gained from the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) International Conference and Workshop held at Maxwell Chambers. Organised by FLA (Singapore) with Astreem Corporation as the strategic partner, the highly regarded event was a success as it proved tremendously beneficial from the positive response received.

Robin Greatbatch, Managing Director of Villa Frangipani, gave an affirmative feedback, “Great conference.”

With the well-received pilot event held last year, this second instalment saw a repeated success with a participation list comprising of established businesses such as Super Bean International, Spa Esprit Group, Pho Hoa Asia Pacific, The Manhattan FISH MARKET Restaurants and HomeFix DIY, just to name a few.

The conference presented topics vital to a franchise business, spanning Fostering Positive Franchisor/Franchisee Relationships, Essential Financial Acumen for Franchisor and Franchisees, From Branding to Franchising Success, Sure Fire Site Selection and Territory Planning. Emphasising interactive participation, panel discussions were conducted to encourage higher levels of involvement.

Offering further insights into the F&B sector, the franchising workshop focused on the Challenges of Setting up an F&B Franchise and Developing a Good Franchise System.

The CFE International Conference & Workshop is part of the two year Certified Franchise Executive programme supported by the Employment and Employability Institute (E2i), which will provide a 50 percent course fee funding for the first 80 Singaporean registrants.
